Changing Your Character's Appearance After Creation
Please SIGN if you want this idea to happen.
NOTICE: I do not take credit for the basic part of this suggestion. Some ideas I have gotten from other games. I have interviewed many people in-game on this matter, and many people are saying YES to this suggestion.
Character Appearance Modifier:
The Character Appearance Modifier is basically a way to change the:
1) FACE APPEARANCE
2) HAIR STYLE
3) HAIR COLOR
4) SKIN COLOR
5) HEIGHT
of your character.
My suggestion is:
In each major town, have an NPC that has the ability to change your looks (any appearance change mentioned above) in exchange for some gold. A good amount in my eyes is 500 gold, so that you would pay the price to change your avatar's/character's appearance for about the price of dye.
This NPC could also be an account management NPC where you could access account information in-game (changing your password, for example.)
You talk to the NPC:
Options:
"I would like to change my character's appearance, please. (Pay 500 gold)"
"I would like to view my account information, please."
"Goodbye"
Then your screen would come to a screen much like the starting character creation screen, BUT ONLY that character. If you want to change your other characters appearances you must play on them.
To avoid making mistakes when you press the "Accept" button, changing your characters looks, you can go to the PVP character creation screen and test out what looks you want (you can put different armors on your guy to see if you like his/her looks, change his/her looks.)
Why I want this:
Well, after making my character and leveling him up through the world, I discovered something: I don't like my character's looks. And I have asked a lot of people, "do you like the way your character looks, and if you had the change to change his/her appearance again, would you?"
Most people said they would DEFINATELY love the option to change their character's appearance.
I believe this is a very good idea because it helps you enjoy guild wars SO much better and it doesn't involve changing a lot of content already in the game.
Sign this is you like it. This is a suggestion worth arguing for.

Yes, but I could not find any threads using search. I tried adding extra information, more in-depth feelings in the suggestion and extra ideas into it.
Being able to change your character's looks after creation is a neccessity for games like this!

please, if you say disagree, tell me why? Simply "I disagree" doesn't help. Why do you disagree?

well, i just don't think its realistic, even though the game is unrealistic to begin with, it takes away the one normal aspect of the game

the same reason you cant change a guild name.
this would be a great gold sink so you know they would if they could.
they (reps) said the account is one piece of information so you cant play around with part of it.
they said they were working on it.
until recently if a characters name was offensive they had to delete the character loot and all and start over.
at least now you can make an emergency name switch

Adding an NPC in the game that would allow you to change your character's appearances is not that hard to make, in fact, Guild Wars already has part of its task finished, they just apply the same Character Creation Screen to the process.

I don't understand how it takes away "the one normal aspect of the game". In many other games, great games mind you, you could change your character in-game in any way shape or form just like you did when you started the character, the only thing is not being able to change your Character's name, and we will not talk about that since this suggestion is not suggesting that.
Let's say you have a warrior/monk, and he looks pretty cool. Then you switch to a warrior/necromancer and decide, hey, i want my warrior to look like he has become a dark warrior, to actually look dark, so you go to the NPC and change your styles accordingly. BOOM. You are enjoying Guild Wars much much more.
[EDIT] Sorry, did not mean to double post, don't know what I did... /scratch

you missed the part about the account being one piece of data and part of that is character appearance and once made it is locked (security maybe?)
it would be a great gold sink if they could do it but not yet.

However, I'm pretty sure this could be modified so that it could work. Imagination .

Indeed, I know how you feel, mate. Just the fact that this would make Guild Wars sooo much better to play makes me tingle inside.

When I first joined this game, I didn't think twice about it, I was expecting them to have it. When I learned they didn't have it, I used my IWSY skill (not IWAY). I WILL SUGGEST YOU!
